Hi, I’m Oluwaseun, the founder of Beyond the Bottle. Believe it or not, I wasn’t always confident about the way I smelled.

There was a time when I wore inexpensive perfumes, hoping nobody would ask what I was wearing. It wasn’t that they smelled terrible. They just didn’t last. Within two or three hours the fragrance was gone, and I’d find myself constantly reapplying, always wondering if I still smelled good. That feeling became frustrating. I knew there had to be a better way.

So I started researching everything I could about perfumes. I spent countless hours learning about fragrance oils, perfumer’s alcohol, ethanol, and fixatives, and how professional perfumes are actually made. Then I started experimenting, mixing different ingredients, testing formulas, and learning through experience.

That’s when I made a discovery that completely changed my perspective. I realised you don’t always have to buy an expensive designer bottle to enjoy a luxurious fragrance. With premium-quality ingredients and the right knowledge, you can create perfumes that smell incredible, project beautifully, and last all day.

That discovery became an obsession. Today I own more fragrances than I ever imagined possible, not because I keep buying expensive bottles, but because I know how to create designer-inspired and niche-inspired fragrances using high-quality materials.

That feeling is exactly what inspired me to create Beyond the Bottle. I wanted to build more than a store.
